  • Free Services to Help Federal Employees (from Arlington Magazine)

  • Arlington, VA Assistance Website for Federal Employees and Contractors

    • Arlington is working to support federal employees and contractors in our community who may need unanticipated help. Arlington is also coordinating with our regional partners and the Commonwealth of Virginia to discuss how to mitigate potential impacts to workers, residents, nonprofits, and businesses in our community.

  • NVCC NOVANext Helping Displaced Federal Workers Transition to New Careers

    • NOVA helps unemployed federal workers and federal contractors quickly and effectively transition their talents to new careers through a new partnership called NOVAnext. Free of charge to eligible participants, the initiative enables workers to explore how their skills and experience can match in-demand jobs available in the region or gain the skills needed to start an enterprise.

  • Fairfax County Health and Wellness Festival

    • Saturday, April 5 | 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

    • In recognition of World Health Day, join us for Health and Wellness Festival, hosted by Fairfax County Public Library in collaboration with CARE Mobile- ServiceSource. Have a HEALTH-TASTIC time and enjoy FREE activities and experiences for the entire family, including resources, creative activities/arts & crafts, social emotional wellness, CPR & AED learning sessions, basic health screenings, community engagement and support, and prizes/giveaways. Also, learn about local organizations, resources, services and support available to the community.
