Calling all paddlers! Ever wanted to try dragon boat racing? Join Ascend GW and the DC Dragon Boat Club for a learning workshop on Wednesday, July 16th at 6:30pm at the Wharf! This is your chance to get on the water and learn the basics of this exciting team sport. RSVP to secure your spot! Note that we shifted the date from 7/9 to 7/16 due to rain.

Capacity is limited to 42 people, so sign up today before all the spots are filled! Please ensure you arrive ON TIME (the boat will leave you), and do not bring valuables to the dock (there is limited storage space for such things, but we'll have a dry bag for car keys and phones).
What to wear: comfortable clothes that you're ok with getting wet (this is a water sport!) Sneakers or sandals are recommended.
What to bring: water or sports drinks--it can get hot on the water--stay hydrated!
Equipment: we will provide life vests, paddles, and the boats
