The Foodie Tour
The Ascend GW Marketing Committee launched the 2021 Foodie Tour to tantalize our taste buds, experience some great camaraderie, and to show gratitude for businesses that supported the Feed Your Hospital campaign. This past month, our group headed straight for the dessert, sampling the delectable bingsoo at Siroo and Juk Story in Annadale, VA. Bingsoo or bingsu is shaved ice topped with sweet toppings.Foodie Tour stop #2 was 9292 Pocha (Korean BBQ). Our Ascend GW community partner, Conference on Asian Pacific American Leadership (CAPAL) is seeking talented Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander professionals for their Board of Directors. CAPAL is an established nonprofit that cultivates AANHPI emerging leaders by increasing access to public service opportunities.
